I  ·  Our Story

The origin
of the name

The wind is one of the most present elements of nature in Atins. In August, it grows stronger and turns the village into a perfect setting for kite — the sky colors itself with kites and sails carried by the breeze.

It is also the wind that draws the dunes of the park and, day after day, redraws the landscape all around.

All this atmosphere inspired two Leo friends, born on the same day in August — Irina and Felipe — to create a welcoming place, with the soul of Atins and the scent of rest.

And so Vento A Gosto was born.

A note on the name In Portuguese, Vento A Gosto is a play on words. A gosto means “to taste” or “as you like it”. Agosto, as a single word, is August — the month of our birthdays. Spoken aloud, the two sound almost the same.
May your stay here be
exactly as you dreamed —
with the wind to taste,
time at the right pace,
and every sunset kept forever.

— With love —

Irina & Felipe

IV  ·  Small Care

With
love

We built this cabin with wood, wind, and time. We only ask the kind of care given to a beloved place, so it stays this way for everyone who comes after you.

01
No Smoke
We don't smoke inside the cabin.
02
Quiet Hours
After 10pm, please keep it soft. Atins nights belong to crickets and stars.
03
Clean Kitchen
When leaving, wash the dishes and empty the fridge. A small kindness to whoever comes next.
04
Mindful Energy
When leaving a room, turn off the air conditioning and the lights. In Atins, energy is precious.
05
Sand Outside
Use the outdoor shower when coming back from the beach. The cabin's wood and the sheets will thank you.
06
Quiet Departure
Windows locked, air conditioning and lights off, door firmly closed — the digital lock takes care of the rest.
07
Something Happened?
No worries — just let us know. We'd rather hear and solve it together.

V  ·  Our Neighbors

A place
of animals

Atins belongs to the animals before it belongs to us. Here you'll cross paths with donkeys, horses, and cows walking down the street, dogs and cats sleeping in the shade, and at night the chorus of frogs and tree frogs rocking you to sleep.

They all live in freedom — and that's one of the most beautiful things here. They are completely friendly and harmless: please, don't be afraid to see them around. We are the ones living in their place.

They are more afraid of us
than we are of them.

If an animal appears near the cabin, don't be startled — and don't startle it either. Watch from afar, let it go on its way.

VIII  ·  Wellness

Yoga &
Ayurveda

Before being a host, Irina is an ayurvedic masseuse and yoga teacher. Here in Atins, with the sound of wind and sea in the background, she welcomes anyone who wants to truly slow down.

A pause for the body —
with time at the right pace.

Ayurvedic massage — therapeutic touch with warm oils, inherited from ancient Indian medicine. Ideal after a day of kite, dunes, or travel.

Yoga classes — private or small-group practices, at sunrise or late afternoon, in front of the cabin or on the beach.
